If the only recipe you make from this book is this one, your money was well spent. A very nice, flavorful cornbread, and even better because it's made in a skillet. Maybe it's just me, but I always think cornbread from a skillet tastes better. Especially good with a pat of butter melted over the top. And try it with a pat of your favorite compound butter for extra flavor and/or color.
