Beatty's Chocolate Cake

My go-to chocolate cake. Totally delicious.

I'm much prefer a yellow or white cake. However, for a chocolate cake, this one was very good. Coffee really does enhance the chocolate flavor, but you wouldn't know it's there. More than excellent. I actually won a baking competition at work using this recipe!

A delicious chocolate cake. Great with the frosting on page 167. I love the flavor that coffee gives to this cake and a good cup along side is great also.
