I made a half recipe of these using my slow cooker NC pulled pork for daughter and I and we loved them. I'd definitely make these again. Next time I'd make a whole recipe of the white sauce though since it's amazing.

My friend from Alabama who introduced me to white sauce makes a very simple (and good) recipe - just mayo, vinegar, and a whole lot of black pepper. It's become my favorite sauce for poultry barbecue. Garlic and horseradish sound like brilliant additions.
