I didn't have steel cut oats so I used the option of whole rolled oats. These were delicious but they made way more servings that the recipe said. I made a half recipe for hubby and I which was supposed to serve 1 1/2 people and be about 7 pancakes, using a 1/4 cup batter. I used a 1/2 cup of batter for each pancake and ended up with 2 huge pancakes each for hubby and I and had enough batter leftover to make several more the same size. I gave the leftover batter to my daughter she made pancakes...
