This is a standard salsa fresca. I like to balance heavier meats and hearty bean dishes with this bright, fresh salsa.
I always add the optional garlic and let it all marinate for an hour in the fridge before serving.

Quick and easy basic salsa that’s bound to liven up any dish. I included the optional garlic for extra zing.

This was ok, but not outstanding. With that said, it may serve as an ingredient in a larger taste pallet of another dish, but simply as a stand alone salsa, I wasn't blown away.
