I have this book largely for historical reasons (though also because it makes me laugh and I like the drawings) so have never envisaged cooking many of the recipes. However this one is perfectly good - easy, quick to prepare (though I didn't quite manage to put it together in 7 minutes as per the recipe intro) and tasted fine - which I suspect depends a lot on the quality of the sausage meat.
