I first made these using butter for the fat and to use up my sourdough starter (unfed). I'm always looking for recipes to use up the excess starter and these are very good. The tortillas came out great; very tasty and pliable without being soggy. I made 8 tortillas instead of 6 and kept the dough in the fridge over several days and just cooked them up when needed.
