I was craving a little something sweet on this cold snowy day and started thumbing though some of my books when I came across this recipe. I still had some Meyer lemons left so this was perfect. Very good but I would have liked even more lemon flavor in the cake itself. The only lemon there was the zest of two of the Meyer lemons and some lemon extract. The glaze saved the day though since it contained 1/4 cup Meyer lemon juice and some sugar. Holes poked in the cake delivered some of the juicy... Read more
