These were delicious - perfect buttery flavor and wonderful soft, fluffy texture. I was a bit concerned when I first mixed the dough as it was very stiff and almost dry. I added a couple more tablespoons milk as well as some water. The dough was still slightly stiffer than my usual rolls (Japanese Milk Rolls) but I went ahead and let them rise overnight.
