These tasted good, not like the vegetarian option at all. They looked fine too, although the colors were the other way round than the book said: the outside was rust-colored and the inside was creamy yellow. However, somehow the taste was too robust for the dainty texture. Still, they would be good for festive times with vegetarians.
The au bain marie was not difficult, but it did need a much higher temperature than the book said. In the end, I put it on 400F because it did not even begin to set...
