This is a very quick recipe, nice for lunch, breakfast or a snack, simple enough to memorize. The main innovation is that the mushrooms are cooked whole. I didn't have large ones, so I used several small ones. They were buttery and succulent, very filling. I think this dish would be even better with crusty rustic bread for the toast.
