Straightforward linguine with clam sauce recipe -- easy and delicious even with a few personal tweaks (I used half the red pepper flakes the recipe called for since we don't love heat and I finished the sauce with 2 T. butter rather than 5 T. olive oil). Once the clams are scrubbed, this recipe come together very quickly. Served with a green salad and a sweet lime (had never heard of these until I found a bunch at Whole Foods yesterday) vinaigrette (sweet lime juice, champagne vinegar, EVOO, a dollop of Grey Poupon and pinches of sugar, salt and pepper). Really good.
