We burnt the chestnuts so it turned into a marble potato, onion and bacon dish, but was great nonetheless. I will try again with the chestnuts next winter. In it's favor we used a great piece of bacon which in combination with the honey made a delicious and crisp coating on the potatoes. Next time I think I'll end up baking the dish to finish so that more of the onions or taters get a crisp coating.
