One of the best spinach salads I’ve ever had and that view was shared by family.
I don’t normally like buttery elements in my green salad but the pita croutons and fried almonds mellowed out the sharpness of the sumac seasoning and lemon juice dressing. Soaking the onions and dates in vinegar was a nice touch: the raw onions lost their edge and the dates gained a little bit of tang. Great mix of flavours and textures.
Family has already requested that this be added into regular rotation.......I know now to double the recipe for 4 people.
