I liked the idea of this (an omelette sandwich, but with the bread in the middle) but didn't feel it came off - the bread seemed to neutralise the anchovy flavour somehow, plus it was surprisingly awkward to eat. If I try it again I shall add more anchovy...

Tasty but not pretty, as the sorrel cooks to a dingy brownish-green in seconds. My omelette was flatter than it should have been as I don't have a pan the right size for a single-person frittata, but that's not the recipe's fault.
