What a wonderful sauce this made for the pizza on page 32. It would also make an excellent pasta sauce. I didn't use the preferred by the author San Marzano whole plum tomatoes but bought some that were on sale at our local market and they were still excellent. They were only 99 cent a can versus the $4 price on the San Marzano.
