These were much easier to make the bread and butter pickles I usually make and are very good. The aren't as sweet as some bread and butters and I like that. Instead of storing in jars in my fridge I just kept them in the crock I made them in. I bought a half crock at a yard sale a few years ago for a dollar and it's great for pickled veggies. Can't wait to try these on the Griddle Burgers from this book I'm making tomorrow night.
