The cookbook has 12 member recipe reviews with an average rating of 3.3 out of 5, with Skillet Lasagne, Pan-Roasted Chicken Breasts with Artichokes and Cherry Tomatoes, and Skillet Chicken Pot Pie among the most-reviewed dishes. Members gave the book an overall rating of 4 out of 5 based on 2 reviews.
All of the recipes I have tried have turned out very well. I really only have two criticisms of this book. One is that too many of the recipes rely on packaged or processed ingredients that we don't usually buy, and the other is that a lot of the recipes are just really basic. But the recipes do work and they are tasty.
I may upgrade the rating if I use it more. I have a few tried and true recipes which I like and are appealing to the kids. Good for the busy family. Better than other "fast cooking" cookbooks I own.
