An excellent creamy asparagus soup. Recipe calls for blending the soup but the food mill worked better for me as we like a very smooth texture for soups. Just as nice chilled as warmed. Australian white is a good pairing. Note: this is a purely vegetarian...

Pretty darned delicious. Very traditional straightforward recipe. Great summer dish. Calls for 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes but 1/4 tsp. was plenty for us. Pick up a loaf of crusty bread to soak up the juices as it would be a shame to let them go to...

Very quick prep all of which may be done in advance; total cooking time is about 10-12 minutes. Good flavor. The red pepper adds just the right touch of sweetness. A good choice for a week-night meal. Recipe doesn't call for this to be served over...
